It may already be clear that we are fans of packing cubes. Over the past few years, we have shared a lot about them and still travel with them, whether it’s for a weekend getaway or a longer trip. For those who are not yet familiar: packing cubes are handy organizers that allow you to organize your luggage. You can use different colors for different types of clothing, so for example pants in a green cube and shirts in an orange cube. This way, you always know where to find what. Of course, you can also do this with plastic bags, but packing cubes are more durable, don’t crinkle, are very compact, and much more organized than plastic bags. Packing cubes are especially useful when you travel a lot, as they allow you to quickly find what you’re looking for in your bag or suitcase. No more mess in your luggage, yay! Guaranteed: once you’ve traveled with packing cubes, you’ll never want to be without them again.
Smart travel clothesline
The Sea to Summit clothesline is a handy clothesline for travel or camping. With this travel clothesline, you can easily hang your (hand) laundry to dry anywhere. What’s ideal about the clothesline is that you no longer need clothespins to hang your laundry. With the clamp system with adjustable clips, you quickly and easily clamp the points of your laundry between the lines. Your laundry can’t fall off the line. A handy vacation gadget for road tripping or camping in the summer. With this cooler backpack, you can take all your food and drinks chilled on the go! The 30-liter backpack not only offers enough space for food and drinks but also for plates, cutlery, and a picnic blanket. Ideal for a day at the beach, boat trip, or picnic, but also for a long car ride. The cooler backpack keeps your food and drinks cool for up to 16 hours. Foldable coffee filter or other coffee gadgets
Do you need a good cup of coffee to start your day? When traveling, it’s always a bit of a wait to see what coffee is available. This super handy foldable coffee filter is the solution for coffee lovers. With the filter, you can quickly make your own cup of filter coffee. You place the filter on a cup, put some coffee in it, and pour hot water over it. After use, you can easily rinse the filter under the tap. So you don’t need paper coffee filters. The coffee filter takes up virtually no space and weighs only 11 grams (!). A perfect travel gadget for the traveler where every gram counts.

This is one of those things that you think: what a clever idea! With the compact bottle light, you can turn an empty bottle into a mood lamp. And you can also use it as a small flashlight, or night light if you plug it into a USB charger in the socket! After 2.5 hours of burning, you can recharge it via the USB connection or power bank, then it will be fully charged in about an hour. These lights are really super handy travel gadgets! Also fun: the candlelight version of the bottle light!
Bluetooth tracker
Are you someone who always loses their keys or wallet? Or do you occasionally have a small panic attack while traveling because you think you left your passport somewhere? Then a Bluetooth tracker is a handy (travel) gadget! There are Bluetooth trackers in the form of a keychain (Chipolo One), so you can easily attach it to your keychain or slip it into a pocket of your wallet, for example. And when you lose something, you can easily find it again via a special app. You can also play a loud sound on the tracker, which is a useful feature when the item is nearby, but you’re not exactly sure where. Also handy: you receive an ‘out of range’ notification on your phone if you leave something behind, so you can’t forget it in the first place!
Do you have an iPhone? Then the Chipolo One Spot tracker is handy. This is because it works with the standard Apple feature ‘Find my iPhone’. You use the Find my iPhone app to see your items that you have equipped with a Bluetooth tracker on the map. The great advantage of this feature is that it uses Apple’s global network of users. So you can track something not only nearby, but anywhere in the world. For example, put the tracker in your suitcase and you can see where your luggage is if it gets lost.
Pocket blanket
The Matador Pocket blanket 2.0 is really a gadget that comes in handy more often than you would think. The pocket blanket is a waterproof picnic blanket that is super lightweight and extremely compact to store, so it even fits in your pocket! With the pins on the corners, you can easily pin it to the ground, so it won’t blow away. Also handy, the blanket can also be used as a groundsheet for your tent. So multifunctional!
Ikgaopavontuur travel bracelet
Asking in China where the nearest toilet or ATM is? That can be quite a challenge! And not only in China, but in many countries where a language barrier is difficult, this bracelet with symbols comes in handy. More convenient than a point it booklet, because you don’t have to fish it out of your bag and look up the right page. You simply point to your bracelet and the Wi-Fi code, the currency exchange office, or police station is easily found! Also very nice to give as a gift to someone who is going backpacking.

Koffiemaatje mini espresso machine
The Koffiemaatje espresso machine is a fantastic travel gadget for coffee lovers. The device is travel-proof and ideal for making really tasty coffee on the go. The great advantage of Koffiemaatje is that it can be used with both Nespresso capsules and ground coffee. And unlike many other portable espresso machines, this device can also heat water. Ideal when there’s no possibility to boil water in the hotel room, camping, or on the go. The coffee machine has a water reservoir of 125 ml and you can make espresso, ristretto, and lungo with it. We have been using Koffiemaatje for a long time now and are very enthusiastic! It’s even Annemarie’s favorite travel gadget at the moment!
Packtowl travel towel
Do you often travel with just carry-on luggage or do you simply want to travel light? Then a travel towel is ideal. We have compared all the travel towels available and the Packtowl travel towel is really the lightest of them all. With this super small package, you always have a full-size travel towel at hand! Drying off may feel a bit strange with this travel towel, but it does its job very well and it dries in no time. So it’s an ideal holiday gadget. Decathlon also has a compact travel towel in its assortment. We don’t have personal experience with it, but we have heard enthusiastic responses from others.
Lightweight dry sack
In the category of practical travel gadgets, the lightweight dry sack is a must-have. Not only is the dry sack a lifesaver on the beach to keep your stuff sand-free and dry, it’s also super handy to have a dry sack with you to keep your belongings dry during unexpected tropical rain showers. Also useful is the slightly sturdier dry bag with carrying strap.
Flexible travel bottles & soap case
These flexible travel bottles are a brilliant invention. The refillable liquid bags are strong, extremely lightweight, and leak-proof! They weigh only 13 grams and have a capacity of 90 ml. You can take enough shampoo/ shower gel/ conditioner for about 2 weeks of vacation. The bottles are suitable for liquids, creams, and gels and are easy to clean. You can easily hang them up with the loops. And you can write what’s inside on the loop. And if they are empty at the end of the vacation, they won’t take up any space. Handy travel gadgets, right? In the same series, there is also a case for a bar of soap or shampoo bar. This soap case breathes, so your bar of soap can dry in the case, unlike in a plastic bag. This way, it won’t become all soggy and you don’t have to take an awkward soap dish with you.
Travel immersion heater
Do you want to make a cup of coffee or tea, boil water for your backpack meal, or heat up a soup? Not every hotel room is equipped with a kettle.
